The Foundation Engineering Platform, PaaS team at HSBC is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to improving the efficiency of HSBC by delivering security services and libraries. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications using Java and associated frameworks. The team aims to provide complete development platforms and tools to help HSBC teams deliver cost-effective journeys securely.

Wymagania:

• Good written and verbal communication skills, very good English
• Understanding of event-driven architecture patterns
• Strong grasp of functional, non-blocking, asynchronous code
• Experience with AWS
• Desired experience in security software
• Performance testing knowledge and experience with Istio, Kubernetes are beneficial but not essential
• Experience securing APIs at scale is a plus
