As a Software Engineer in the Data Foundations team, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the platform that empowers Google Health engineers to build features for our users. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying backend services and intuitive automation tools using Java/Go/Kotlin. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that directly improve engineering efficiency and code quality, collaborating with a talented team and contributing to a culture of automation and innovation. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from understanding user needs to deploying and maintaining scalable solutions. The Health Platforms and Devices team builds innovative products and services that help our users live longer, healthier lives. We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behavior science, and user-centered design to help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable.

Wymagania:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, or C++), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• Experience working with distributed databases and distributed computing.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or related technical fields.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to work with various technologies and different programming languages.
