ING Hubs Poland is hiring! We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with very good knowledge of Spark and Python, hands-on experience building complex data pipelines, good understanding of ML models deployment and consumption patterns, and ability to refactor, maintain, and debug existing machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate should have problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot and optimize ML models. Extra points for interest in banking and banking products, experience working in international, cross-functional teams, and knowledge in Airflow and Azure pipelines.

Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a code base that produces ML models, improving data flow, establishing new data sources and deployment, troubleshooting data issues, optimizing systems for performance and cost-effectiveness, documenting technical specifications and outcomes, and using Azure DevOps for CI/CD, task tracking, version control, and other DevOps practices.

You will be part of an international highly skilled team of data scientists, machine learning, and data engineers at ING. The team works in an agile environment to help ING achieve its global goals. The product squad focuses on delivering a modern credit engine solution that provides scoring for B2B lending and aims to expand its solutions to multiple countries, offering you opportunities to grow and implement your analytics ideas.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
