Vetting is an important process for HSBC to confirm the candidate's identity, employment history and relevant qualifications with respect to the position for which they are applying. The vetting process helps to verify candidates’ integrity in accordance with HSBC values and confirm that there are no legal or regulatory barriers to the Bank employing them. The vetting process also seeks to provide a level of assurance that an applicant’s background does not raise reasonable concerns that their employment would expose the Bank to unacceptable level of risk.
The role involves managing background screening of job applicants, executing fraud database searches, performing critical checks like SCION, PEP & Sanctions and NNS Checks, identifying and escalating issues, supporting global projects, and being the SPOC for vendors and stakeholders for case clarification.
Wymagania:
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English, French & Spanish at B2 level minimum
- Experience in a fast-paced, corporate environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to maintain focus while working with critical data
- Ability to build rapport with a wide range of people
- Maintain highest levels of integrity
