Opis oferty:

As a Senior Software Engineer within HSBC’s Global Debt Markets (GDM) IT team, you will play a key role in developing and supporting the Falcon UI platform - an advanced trading and risk application framework built on HTML5 and React. This platform underpins the GDM Trader Desktop and is central to the front-office technology landscape, supporting functions such as risk management, trade booking, electronic trading, and market making. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong collaboration with global stakeholders, and a deep understanding of both functional and architectural aspects of trading systems. You will contribute to building low-latency, resilient applications that reduce maintenance overhead and support growing business volumes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement are valued. Wymagania:

  • Proven 7+ years of experience building UIs in multi-tiered enterprise applications.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/React.js and either Java or Scala.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication skills; able to perform some BA tasks.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ownership mentality across the full SDLC, from design to support.
  • Team-oriented with experience in fast-paced technical environments.
  • Understanding of trading workflows and risk/pricing systems is a plus.
