The Futures Algo Algorithmic Trading Technology team work alongside the Cash Equities tech team and runs the execution stack from client FIX message in through to order message on the exchange. The team develops and maintains its own Algorithmic Trading Container, View Server and HTML5 based UI and Smart Order Router. It also has a dedicated infractructure team for managing its off-campus hardware estate. The team spans the 3 main trading hubs (Hong Kong, New York, London), with team members in five locations (Guangzhou, Hong Kong, New York, London and Krakow). Your main challenge would be helping to build out the ‘next generation’ of Futures execution algo platform at HSBC.

Wymagania:

• Must have strong core Java skills (willing to learn Scala)
• Must have a very good knowledge of collections, their implementation and their optimization.
• Zero GC architectures.
• Low latency systems.
• Experience with Algorithmic Trading Stack.
• Be excellent communicator, and comfortably communicating directly with the Sales/Trading Desk and internal Technology teams and can range up and down the detail depending on your audience.
