We're looking for a Lead Java Engineer to join the Markets & Securities Services IT Poland team at HSBC. This role involves leading a team responsible for both development and maintenance of microservices in Collateral. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance to team members, support the product owner in technology decisions, design efficient code, collaborate with global teams, and drive the introduction of new technologies.

Wymagania:

• 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and operating distributed microservice systems in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with testing methodologies, TDD, and BDD
• Knowledge of relational databases, middleware, Cloud (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, and Agile practices
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions and provide innovative solutions to complex business problems
