About our team: Data & Reporting Service Domain within Payments and Financial Transactions Service Area team. Our task is to satisfy company’s needs with regards to gathering, processing, aggregating and distributing payments related data.
In this role you’ll operate across different scrum teams to provide your expertise in designing scalable, performant and fault-tolerant applications as well as data pipelines and data products. You’ll cooperate with analysts, developers, product owner and project manager spread across different regions all working together on the same goals / deliveries.
Main responsibilities in this role: Creating a unified technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed within the team, Determining the essential infrastructure and technology requirements for the team’s backlog, Identifying dependencies and risk and proposing remedial actions, Designing solutions compliant with the guidelines of Nordea Group Architecture: vision, target and transitional architecture, Designing solutions that meet business requirements and take into account the existing limitations, Collaborating with the teams to refine solution design and validate technical assumptions, Participating in designing data pipelines and developing data products, Modelling architecture and creating architectural documentation in BPMN and UML: context diagram, flow diagrams, implementation diagrams, component model, class model, requirements.
This position is based in Poland (Gdansk, Gdynia, Warsaw), Finland (Helsinki) or Denmark (Copenhagen).
Who you are: To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:
Technical skills: Knowledge of both monolith and microservices architectures (incl. event-driven ones), Java knowledge on a level that allows communication with development teams, Python knowledge for scripting / designing data processing pipelines, Technologies: Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Big Data Technologies, Snowflake or Databricks. General knowledge of IBM Mainframe and legacy systems is welcomed.
Personal skills: Strong leadership and delivery orientation, Communication and interpersonal skills, Continuous sharing of knowledge.
Experience and background: Experience working as an architect on large projects in international organizations, Data engineering experience, Experience in banking is welcomed.
Business and domain knowledge: Cards Transaction and Payments Processing, Data Management, Security, GDPR and PCI compliance.
