The Storage Engineering team at Goldman Sachs is responsible for developing and integrating software products to automate all aspects of storage infrastructure. The team develops provisioning and management automation solutions and integrates vendor hardware and software with GS systems. The candidate will be leading a team of software engineers across the globe, providing technical oversight, mentorship, and management. They will drive the implementation, integration and production support of FI Storage software and execute on Storage Engineering software automation and software lifecycle management projects. We expect the successful candidate to be intimately familiar with Java and its frameworks and methodologies and to have a proven track record leading the delivery of Java platforms. We are looking for a talented and passionate engineer who thrives in an extremely entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. This is a high visibility role, backed by some of the senior-most leaders of the firm, and as such, will require creativity and drive to deliver on an ambitious roadmap.
