The opportunityAs a PGTR Engineering Platforms Solution Architect, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering IT solutions and services to the Engineering and R&D domains within BU Transformers. In this role, you will design, ensure the integrity, and maintain the quality of IT solutions. You will collaborate on project setup, delivery, and service operations optimization. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow and learn in a supportive environment.
How you’ll make an impactManage large projects or processes with limited oversight from the managerCollaborate with Application Architects, Enterprise Architects, and Business AnalystsEngage in requirements engineering to decide on standard functionalities and enhancementsCreate, evaluate, and document solution options considering business requirements and standardsDefine technical IT solutions from an integration’s perspective, including API definitionsConsider functional and non-functional requirements in Platforms architectureCommunicate architectural design and dimensions to the development teamMake recommendations regarding the acquisition and/or implementation of software to increase information systems efficiency
Your background5+ years of experience in platform solution architecture and 3+ years of experience designing integration solutionsExperience working collaboratively in geographically dispersed teams and with complex technical domainsExperience in a large, reputable organization is highly desirableMaster’s degree in information systems, electrical, or mechanical engineeringWillingness to travel (around 30%; domestic and international) Fluent spoken and written English
